Task
Design a 3D donut using texture and glazing on top
The task was to design a donut in the Blender 3D program. The design started with the torus primitive, thickening it and making the shape more imperfect so it looks more natural. There also had to be glaze on the donut and distort the shape in such a way that the glaze looks flowing, dense and shiny. Texture had to be added on the 2D surface layout of the donut part so that the middle part would remain lighter and the "fried" surfaces would remain darker.
After creating the object and the background, a dimmer light was added to create shadows and shine on the object, and then, finally, a photo of the object had to be rendered.
The photo has been used in poster design.
