Overview & Team Collaboration
Contributed to the creation of a compact promotional magazine for boatbuilder Soomo. Developed within a collaborative group setting, my initial layout framework was chosen to help structure the publication. Tasks were then divided to build out the editorial content, custom graphics, and final page layouts reflecting the company’s corporate visual identity (CVI).
Custom Vector Illustration & Asset Creation
Rope Pattern Brush: Engineered a custom vector rope pattern brush in Adobe Illustrator to maintain uniform texturing and authentic nautical detail.
Mermaid Knot Art: Illustrated detailed step-by-step nautical knots for a featured article, pairing the custom graphics with brand-aligned marine background colors.
Editorial Copywriting & Page Layout
Field Interview & Content Creation: Conducted an in-depth interview with company owner Moonika to map out the step-by-step boat manufacturing workflow, authoring the full article copy.
Photo Curation & Layout: Selected and edited high-resolution photography to complement the text, organizing the imagery into a clean multi-photo magazine collage.
Colophon & Publishing Details: Compiled and designed the official magazine imprint (colophon), documenting project contributions and team roles.
