Task
To create an emotionally resonant and visually clean campaign assets
The goal of the 'Help Start a Life' campaign was to humanize the Maternity Hospitals Fund’s mission through a real-life success story. At the heart of the campaign is Ingel Miina—living proof of how timely medical support and specialized equipment can change the world.
The challenge was to craft a visually striking and emotive piece of advertising that seamlessly integrated the girl’s personal journey with the foundation’s mascot, the 'Love Bunny' (Armastuse Jänku). The visual language required a delicate balance: it needed to be professional enough to build trust, yet heartfelt enough to inspire long-term giving. The final result is a campaign where every element—from the child’s earnest gaze to the symbolic mascot—unites to remind us that every baby deserves the best possible start in life.

Technical Execution & Photo Manipulation
I executed a clean background extraction and comprehensive color correction. The objective was to pivot away from the original 'Christmas' aesthetic toward a more neutral, evergreen palette, ensuring the viewer’s focus remains on the girl’s eyes and the light held in her hands. I replaced the original fairy lights with the 'Love Bunny,' a mascot illustrated by Gerda Märtens for the Maternity Hospitals Fund. As the mascot originated from a 2D drawing, I applied advanced rendering, lighting, and shadow-matching techniques to give it depth and dimension, making it appear as a natural, tactile part of the scene. Using Adobe Photoshop, I digitally altered the colors of the sweater and hair bow to create a harmonious composition that aligns perfectly with the Maternity Hospitals Fund’s official brand identity.
